What we do
The food industry relies on stringent hygiene rules to avoid cross contamination and infection at all costs. JLA’s OTEX system kills all bacteria on work wear, and offers a printed receipt to confirm all bugs have been eliminated.
Although many businesses within the food industry process their laundry off-site, JLA can provide a full on-site laundry and train staff to use it efficiently. Not only does an on-premise laundry save on time and money, it provides reassurance that your laundry is being washed to the highest possible standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
How we've helped
Client: The Faccenda Group
Problem: Maintaining stringent hygiene standards while achieving maximum efficiency.
Solution: The Faccenda Group is the UK’s second largest poultry processor. Until recently, they used an outside contractor to launder overalls.
“It wasn’t an ideal situation,” says Graham Sarbutt, technical manager. “Overalls would get lost, and the quality of the service we were getting was definitely an issue. We approached JLA and another supplier for estimates for an on-premise laundry, but JLA were favoured because of their professionalism.”
JLA carried out a detailed assessment of Faccenda’s laundry requirements and designed a laundry equipped with three washers, and three dryers which were fitted with the revolutionary E.C.H.O system.
“We are very, very pleased with the laundry and the back-up provided by JLA. While the E.C.H.O system gives us complete peace of mind at all times, the machines themselves are proving to be fantastic – giving us substantial savings.”
