JLA Group Further Strengthens its Catering Division

JLA Group has announced its acquisition of two further catering businesses, Newco Catering Equipment and Comcat Engineering.

These latest moves mark JLA’s sixth and seventh catering acquisition in two years as part of the growth strategy for their JLA Catering division.

Newco, based in Coventry, have been trading since 2003 and are a leading provider in the servicing and supply of catering equipment across a broad range of market sectors. Their outstanding reputation has been built on the quality of service they provide to their customers along with the fact they have more specialist engineers per square mile than any other provider in the Midlands.

Comcat, with offices in Inverness and Aberdeen, have been providing high quality repair, installation and maintenance services to the commercial catering industry across north Scotland for over 15 years.

Alongside JLA’s existing UK-wide team of sales consultants and engineers, Newco and Comcat’s expertise and experience will further enhance the customer offer and service response. The move also means customers will benefit from a 40% increase in dedicated catering engineers reinforcing JLA’s position as the largest independent commercial catering equipment supply and service specialist in the UK.
