Danny is a Customer Service Advisor who has been with us since April 2017, and he’s already making a great impression on our customers.
When Providence Day Nursery had a problem with their laundry equipment on a Friday afternoon, they knew they needed a quick solution in order to be ready for Monday morning. Danny spent 20 minutes on the phone with Charlotte to ensure that a fast fix could be achieved. By the time that Charlotte came in for work on Monday at 9am, Danny had already arranged for an engineer to be on-site at 7am to fix the problem so that the nursery wouldn’t have to go without. “Danny really got everything right,” she said.
Katie is one of our Customer Support Advisors. She has been providing support to customers since June 2016.
Katie was nominated by Paul from Colchester District General Hospital for being their go-to contact for key updates when their microfiber laundry was being installed.
“Katie often went above her remit to keep us in the loop” says Paul. “It meant that excellent service was delivered during the project and she ensured that the hospital cleaning kept running."

In August, the Churchlane Team from Places for People nominated him as their All-Star because he went above and beyond to ensure that their washing machine was fixed as soon as possible. “It’s so important to us due to the nature of the clients we support,” said a team member. “Danny saw to it that our washer was repaired quickly so we didn’t have to go without. We really appreciated it!”

Chris has been a Field Service Engineer with JLA since October 2005.
He was nominated by Jon from HMP Birmingham for his hard work every time he visits their site. "We have a very challenging site - without Chris’ efforts and the additional support he offers we would be in a much worse condition."
Chelsea has been helping JLA customers since 2016 in her role as Customer Service Advisor.
Frances from Airline Care Home nominated Chelsea after the bad weather hit. “Due to the bad snow, our call-out was rescheduled – when I called to explain we were a care home and really couldn’t wait, Chelsea managed to sort it out for us. Our call-out was attended straight away, thank you!”
Well done Chelsea for keeping Airline Care Home up and running!
There’s a prize on its way to you and Frances.
We had a record number of votes for our March All-Star… it was a close call, but Colin & Alex took the top spot! As Field Service Engineers, Colin has been helping JLA customers since 2016, and Alex since 2015.
They were nominated by Paul from Turning Point Scotland. Paul explains “When they arrived on site the lift was out of order, but they were determined not to let us down and managed to carry a washer and then a dryer up over 130 stairs to the top floor of the building. They made sure we had our new machines installed that day – which is vital to the service we provide here at TPS.”
Well done Colin & Alex for keeping Turning Point Scotland up and running! There’s a prize on its way to both of you and Paul.
