JLA GROUP ACQUIRES ELLESMERE GROUP
The JLA Group is delighted to announce the acquisition of the Ellesmere Group – a leading mechanical and electrical services contractor – to further enhance its growing commercial heating and air-conditioning division.
Based in Manchester, employing 44 people including 21 field engineers, the Ellesmere Group currently specialises in providing commercial heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) installation and maintenance solutions to customers across the northwest.
As a key growth area for JLA, HVAC is another critical business requirement that their customers rely on to keep their businesses running smoothly. The company’s success is built on its unique Total Care solution which allows businesses to acquire critical commercial assets with no requirement for large sums of upfront capital investment and instead, a simple monthly subscription. Total Care also completely eliminates any risk to the customer of expensive breakdowns or repairs which is all taken care of as part of the all-inclusive breakdown and maintenance package that promises an engineer response within 4 hours.
The Ellesmere Group is the second acquisition that JLA has made in the HVAC sector, having acquired William Whitfield, based in Glasgow, in May 2018. JLA’s ambitious growth plans include further acquisitions that will continue to complement its organic growth in the sector.
